Can you believe it!
50 years of Camp Warren Jyrch! When our first camp rolled out, Nixon was President, Bad, Bad, Leroy Brown was topping the charts, the Dolphins won the Super Bowl and Cubs fans would have to wait 43 more years for that elusive World Series win. In 1973 the world of Hemophilia was still trying to be heard; at times it could be scary. In order to aid in bridging this gap, Camp Warren Jyrch was created to provide a place of safety, support, and lifelong friendships being built.
On July 8th we are opening the doors to reconnect and celebrate our past by recognizing all past, current, and future campers with a simple get together. Please come to talk, eat, hangout, and share those memories/stories of past camps and remember all involved. This is a time to have some fun, hang out and just bring together our community for nothing more than celebrating our past and future whilst enjoying some relaxing fellowship. It is also a potluck, we will be providing, pop, grilling items, chips and some sides so bring your favorite or best dish! BDAI is so excited to see you and hang out with everyone!
Later this year we will have a more formal get together to honor and celebrate the brotherhood and sisterhood of campers for the years gone by. John and Lily along other will share their stories of crazy camp times, camp stories or campers remembered.
