Adapting to Change, sustaining care in a new world
World Hemophilia Day is about bringing the global bleeding disorders community together. With the COVID-19 pandemic having a major impact on people with a bleeding disorder, that objective has never been more important. Our community is made up of a great diversity of people—from patients and their families, to physicians and researchers—each of whom has been affected by the pandemic in a different way. We need to continue providing support to these people now, and in the future once the pandemic has passed. The world has changed greatly over the last year, but one thing hasn’t: we are still in this together, and we will always be stronger together as a community.
Celebrate with BDAI on April 16th! During this virtual event, registrants will learn about self care; and partake in it by painting together. Our sponsor, CSL Behring will provide a presentation, “Put your oxygen mask on first: self-care and bleeding disorders,” this presentation will be followed by a painting instruction. Registrants will receive a painting kit in the mail, including all the supplies they’ll need to make their own World Hemophilia Day canvas. You must register by April 2nd.
Since we can’t all get together for dinner as we usually do, BDAI will send you a $25 Grubhub gift card per household!
Registration is now closed.
*From time to time, Bleeding Disorders Alliance Illinois will want to use pictures and/or videos from our virtual events to promote our community. By registering you give permission to BDAI to use those images and videos in print, video, or electronic media, including internet and social media promotions. If you do not wish to be in the picture or the recording, you must turn off your camera and mic. Leaving either of those two on is implied consent. It is solely your responsibility to take any necessary steps to prevent being recorded.
Additionally, we encourage you to use just your first name while on the Zoom call.
